In 2023, the hospital segment will account for the largest market share.

According to MarketsandMarkets, the global capnography equipment market is expected to reach $458.8 million by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 4.2%.

The industry’s expansion has been attributed to rising prevalence of respiratory diseases, technological developments and government support measures.

“Growth is also being driven by growing patient demand for high-quality sensors to ensure safety and aid clinical decision-making,” the report said.

Additionally, increasing surgical volume and widespread use of capnography in emergency medical services are further driving the market.

By end user, the hospital segment will hold the largest market share in 2023.
